Festival Identity

I built a bold and vibrant identity, using a bright palette and custom illustration style that reflected the energy of the festival. Subtle references to the racecourse (the track and Champagne flute floodlights) kept it rooted in place without leaning on clichés. Working at pace, I designed everything from signage and marketing campaigns to large scale stage graphics and on-site installations.

Chelmsford City Live drew 45,000+ attendees over three days, with artists including Justin Timberlake, Duran Duran and Nile Rodgers sharing the designs across their personal social channels and meta campaigns. The branding gained huge visibility, from tube and train station ads across London and Essex to stage backdrops.
